Dr. Estella Liew

BVSc (MELBOURNE) HONS., MANZCVS (SMALL ANIMAL SURGERY)

Dr Estella Liew graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2008. Since then she has been working in small animal practice in Singapore. She then decided to further herself and completed a 1 year rotating internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists in the United States. Following that she spent 2.5 years as a senior emergency veterinarian at Bluepearl Veterinary Partners in Michigan. There she continued to work alongside various specialists. She also completed an externship in an oncology center in Michigan. Dr Liew obtained her memberships in small animal surgery by examination with the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2015. She obtained the Graduate Ceritificate in Small Animal Ultrasound Abdominal with the University of Melbourne in 2022. She is a firm believer of continued education to improve herself. Amongst them she has completed post-graduate surgery courses with CVE Sydney. Her interests are in surgery, emergency and behavioural medicine. When off-duty at work, Dr. Liew is on-duty as a mother of two young children and an Australian Shepherd named Mason. She also enjoys kayak fishing with her husband and is an avid dog sport enthusiast.
