Dental scaling and polishing is important to maintain good oral health. During the procedure, the surface of each tooth is examined and assessed, plaque and tartar are removed via scaling, and the tooth surfaces are polished afterwards.
General anaesthesia is required. While your pet is under anaesthesia, a dedicated anaesthesia nurse monitors their vitals closely. This is typically a day procedure and an appointment is required beforehand.
